Our 120 acres of land and excellent boarding facilities provide plenty of opportunity for weekend activities. However, unlike some boarding schools, Aldenham does not have Saturday School, although sports fixtures are played at the weekend, for those in teams.
For other full boarders there is a combination of downtime relaxing with friends, and some trips such as the cinema, bowling, Top Golf, or karting. The programme is very flexible and informal.
There are plenty of chances to visit London's attractions which are on our doorstep! More significant trips are arranged to other major UK cities including Cambridge and Edinburgh.
Some boarders take advantage of visiting the homes of their new British friends at the weekend, as many live locally. This gives the opportunity for a real taste of home life in England which is a real advantage of boarding at Aldenham.
