Athletics enhances physical fitness, boosts mental resilience, and fosters teamwork.<\/p>\n

Participating in track and field events builds discipline, improves coordination, and instills a<\/p>\n

\r\n Athletics in the Curriculum <\/h2>\r\n <\/div>\r\n \r\n \r\n
\r\n

Athletics is taught in core PE from Yr7-10 for all students. Elite athletes also have 1-2-1 sessions with the Head of Athletics during games lessons in Yr9&10 & enrichment for Yr7&8. The school enters the National Track & Field Cup and the Watford District Championships. Elite individual athletes are also entered into the Hertfordshire Schools Championships where those who have won and reached National qualifying times can compete for Herts at the National Championships.<\/p>\n \r\n <\/div>\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n <\/div> \r\n\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div> \r\n<\/section> \r\n\r\n
