Hunting For Mini Beasts

Year 2 had a fantastic day out at the Affinity Water Education Centre. Year 2 learnt how to use a classification key and soon put their skills into practise when they went pond dipping and minibeast hunting! They caught a variety of creatures and managed to identify them using a key. They even caught a newt! The children loved exploring in the sunshine and learnt all sorts of interesting facts! We were delighted to receive a gold award for our lunchbox waste challenge. It was a brilliant day for everyone.
