Aldenham Prep School Choir comprised of 26 pupils from years 5 & 6 took part in Young Voices at the O2 Arena.It certainly was a night for the children to remember for the rest of their lives! Over 7000 children were there and the Aldenham Choir took centre stage (literally!) while performing more than 10 different numbers; including ‘Ain’t no mountain’, ‘Birdhouse in your soul’, a selection of medleys and also an acappella song entitled ‘Sing’, backed by the amazing Beatbox Collective! Much to the children’s delight, Natalie Williams, a regular performer at Ronnie Scott’s, joined the choir for a few numbers, as did Tabby Callaghan (2004 X-factor finalist). “That was the best night of my life!” is a direct quote from one of the year 6 boys, while walking back to the coach alongside the other thousands of children. Roll on 2018…
