Sustainability Assembly

When the current Year 3 visited the Affinity Water’s Education Centre. Their challenge was to bring a lunch that leaves NO landfill waste at all. At the end of lunchtime the contents of the general waste bin was weighed and divided by the number of children (and adults) in the class. Ours didn’t even need to be weighed as we left no landfill waste at all. We were so proud that our school was added to the zero waste wall of fame; only a few schools pass the challenge each year. In recognition of the achievement we have been presented by Affinity Water with a trophy. Obviously made from recycled material!
