Fire of London Workshop

March 25, 2022

Year 2 had the opportunity to relive the events from The Great Fire of London in Aldenham’s Barton Hall on Wednesday 23rd March. We dressed up for the day and took part in numerous activities involving bread making, soap making, pamphlet making, letter writing and even pigeon shooting! In the afternoon we carried out an archaeologists hunt whereby we dug up different artefacts that gave us clues as to what shops had been burned down in the fire.

Take a look at our photos to see just how much fun we had!
