Visit from the Fire Station
Reception had a visit from Green Watch from Borehamwood fire station. They were shown around their brand new fire truck and even got to use the hose. They also found out about their uniform and some of the emergencies they help with.

Yr 12 Students Lead EU Assembly
Year 12 students Nicola and Joe led an interesting and lively assembly on the EU referendum. They both were impressed by the knowledge of the Prep School children and the level of their questions. We are looking forward to more assemblies led by our Senior School pupils.
Science Masterclass
Year 5 enjoyed all the experiments in the Senior School labs as part of their Science Masterclass.
Staff Training
Prep school staff had inset training on Learning outside the classroom. We covered Maths, History and Geography in the Spinney. Using a variety of loose parts and natural resources we covered lessons on rivers, area and perimeter, Roman artefacts, mapping skills and how wattle and daub was used throughout history.
