Starting in Year 1, pupils can take individual piano lessons, while lessons for orchestral instruments, guitar, drums, and singing are available from Year 3, taught by qualified peripatetic staff. In classes – Year 2 & 3 play glockenspiels, Djembes in Year 4, Ukulele’s in Year 5 and keyboards in Year 6. There are plenty of concerts to showcase collective and individual talents.

Aldenham Prep School pupils sing in assembly every week, which involves practicing and learning new hymns and songs that are relevant to the season or time of year. The Aldenham Prep School Choir also rehearses every week and is entered into the annual Watford Festival, as well as performing throughout the year on a variety of occasions.
