The House System

Aldenham Prep Houses

Aldenham Prep has three Houses, Champion, Creswell and Cantrell. All children belong to a House (and are very loyal!)

Named after Previous Aldenham Headmasters

At Aldenham Prep, we believe in the power of community, teamwork, and tradition. Our House system is designed to bring students together in a supportive environment where they can work as a team, celebrate achievements, and grow both academically and personally.

Each House is named after one of our esteemed previous Headmasters, honoring their dedication and contributions to the school’s legacy. These names serve as a reminder of the values they upheld—leadership, commitment, and excellence.

Throughout the year, pupils within each House participate in a variety of activities, ranging from sports competitions and academic challenges to arts projects and charity events. These events provide students with opportunities to collaborate, showcase their talents, and develop a strong sense of camaraderie and school pride.

The House system not only encourages friendly competition but also helps the children build lasting friendships, learn valuable teamwork skills, and appreciate the rich history that shapes our school community. We are proud to continue this tradition and celebrate the achievements of both past and present generations of pupils.
