The children are use to occasional helicopters flowing overhead, but you can only imagine their delight as this one got closer and closer and eventually landed on the sports field. The shrieks of delight got even louder when Father Christmas stepped out complete with his number one elf and sacks full of books, one for each of the children. The magic of Christmas was felt by every pupil and member of staff.

The Walk a Mile initiative was given a festive twist by children and staff donning their best Christmas hats.
The Year 6 children performed an assembly to parents and the school entirely written by themselves.
