Children can be registered at any time and are eligible for a place in the Nursery once they have turned 3, on a first come first served basis. Once registered children are invited to a Stay and Play session, this helps determine their readiness for a school Nursery. Offers of a place are made up to six months prior to the start date.

Prior to registering children are welcome to attend the regular Little Lions play sessions. A free play session for 2-3 year olds to familiarise themselves with the school.

Children can be registered at any time but should be registered by the latest in the September in the year before they start.  Assessments take place in October. Children are assessed in small groups according to their birth month. The aim of the session is to assess your child informally through friendly, age appropriate activities. Prior to your child’s attendance parents are asked to complete a short questionnaire which is designed to ensure that we make the assessment as enjoyable as possible for each child.  Also prior to the assessment you will be invited to a 4+ Tea, designed to familiarise your child with Aldenham with a view to making the assessment fun for everyone.

You are recommended to register as soon as possible to start the assessment process. Offers are made based on assessment and availability.

Years 5 and 6 are the start of the children’s journey into Senior education as they have the benefit of integrating with Years 7 and 8 creating a seamless transition into the Senior School.  Children starting in at least Year 5 will also benefit from a 10% discount on fees in Year 7 and 8.
