Armistice Day

November 17, 2015

To commemorate Armistice Day all the children in the Foundation Stage made a hand print that created a Union Flag. The flag formed part of the Year 6 led assembly and the school chapel bell tolled 288 times in memory of those members of the school, pupils and staff, who lost their lives in the two world wars.

Pi Day, March 14th, celebrates the number pi, also written with the Greek letter π. This is because the number π starts out with 3.14 and March 14th can be written 3-14.
