Art Week

All children from Reception to Year 6 participated in an Art lesson designed around the Take One Picture image – The Men of the Docks. This lesson comprised of 4 short activities to enable children to develop a range of artistic skills including: line drawing, colour blending, perspective and shape. The teaching approach was differentiated according to the age and understanding of the children, but the skills developed were the same for everyone. The artwork created during this lesson will form part of the exhibition, showing progression in Art skills across the school.
