Celtic Harmony

The children in Year 3 had an amazing experience at Celtic Harmony recently. They learned how people in the Stone Age lived, how they hunted and gathered for food (including spearing Woolly Mammoths!). They built dens using logs, twigs, leaves, ‘brush’ and then covered them for camouflage with long grass. They also took part in a trading activity and took home a small Stone Age gift.

Wellies at the Ready

A little mud wasn’t going to deter the Nursery children having a lovely walk in the January sunshine this week. With wellies on puddles were waiting to be jumped in! The wellies got quicker and quicker as all the children gathered speed running down the bank.
