Celtic Harmony

The children in Year 3 had an amazing experience at Celtic Harmony recently. They learned how people in the Stone Age lived, how they hunted and gathered for food (including spearing Woolly Mammoths!). They built dens using logs, twigs, leaves, ‘brush’ and then covered them for camouflage with long grass. They also took part in a trading activity and took home a small Stone Age gift.

Pancake Races

All the children from Nursery to Year 6 celebrated Shrove Tuesday with Pancake Races. With House points at stake pancakes flew as the children showed their determination not to be beaten.  Staff joined the fun with a race to round off the proceedings.
