Yes 15! That is how many medals were won by Isabella Yeabsley at the recent Hertfordshire Amateur Swimming Association (ASA). An outstanding achievement and the result of a lot of very hard work.
The 15 medals included 3 Gold, 3 Silver and 9 Bronze and with her tally being the highest of the competition she was also awarded the Plate for her age group.
Isabella, a pupil at Aldenham Prep School in Elstree, trains 6 times a week. Her schedule includes some very early morning wake up calls and a lot of support from her sporty family.
Mrs Gocher, Headmistress at Aldenham Prep said “We are all very proud of Isabella; she is a credit to herself, family and school. She works very hard and her amazing achievements speak for themselves. We wish her every success in her sporting endeavours”
As for Isabella’s futures plans she said “The 2024 Olympics in Paris would be a dream come true. I will just keep trying my best” With such commitment goals are achieved and this young lady is certainly one to watch out for.
