Year 4 have been studying the book ‘Poo a natural history of the unmentionable’ where they have worked hard to learn about the different habits of animals and their digestive process. The children gathered mud from around the school to replicate their chosen animal’s excrement which will inspire their very own pooems! It is safe to say that the children have been completely enthralled and fascinated by this writing topic.
The children in Reception have continued with their topic ‘People who Help us’ with a visit from the local police force. They talked about how to stay safe then enjoyed trying on uniforms. They even went in the police van complete with flashing lights and a very loud siren!
Year 3 experienced their first Aldenham residential. They had two hours of fun activities with Club Excel before devouring a yummy BBQ with gooey chocolate bananas for pudding.
