We were thrilled to welcome the local fire brigade to school last week as part of our topic on ‘People Who Help Us’. During their visit, the firefighters engaged with the children in interactive demonstrations and discussions about fire safety. They even let them pretend to drive the Fire Engine. Thank you to these brave men and women who help keep us safe.
Year 3 had great fun completing their DT project on Mechanical Systems. Each child made a unique and fabulous pneumatic toy. They designed and created secure housing for their pneumatic systems independently. The children thoroughly enjoyed operating their toys and watching their mouths open and close!
