Year 5 at Bushcraft

May 25, 2023

Year 5 went to Bushcraft, Blenheim Woods. This residential visit lasting 2 nights and 3 days provided us with a camping experience we will never forget! As part of our stay, we had to make a fire in the woods and cook our lunch, which was burgers. During the course of the trip we had lessons in first aid and survival, the safe use of knives and making traps in the wild. We played camouflage games, such as predator and 21. Of course, we also ate smores and sang lots of campfire songs. What an adventure!!!
