Year 5 visit the Tower of London

Year 5 had great fun learning about all the gory details of the Tower of London. They met a few Beefeaters on their travels who told them stories of beheading, stretching and imprisonment. They visited the Tower which housed the Tower’s zoo and were fascinated by  the story of the polar bear who was kept on a lead to swim in the Thames!

ASPA Christmas Bauble Workshop

ASPA (Aldenham School Parent Association) treated our Prep children with a Christmas Bauble decorating workshop. Children worked with our presenter to create their very own magical Christmas scene on a ceramic bauble. They’ll take pride of place on the Christmas tree!

Year 3 Pneumatic Toys

Year 3 had great fun completing their DT project on Mechanical Systems. Each child made a unique and fabulous pneumatic toy. They designed and created secure housing for their pneumatic systems independently. The children thoroughly enjoyed operating their toys and watching their mouths open and close!
