Year 6 Art

Year 6 had their first visit to the Creative Space this week. We began our unit of work called '2D to 3D.' Our source of inspiration has originally been drawn from Lubaina Himid, a Turner Prize Winner. Originally born in Zanzibar, she draws inspiration from her African heritage. The children explored her work, the colours and the meaning before creating their own visual records.
