Year 6 Art

Year 6 had their first visit to the Creative Space this week. We began our unit of work called ‘2D to 3D.’ Our source of inspiration has originally been drawn from Lubaina Himid, a Turner Prize Winner. Originally born in Zanzibar, she draws inspiration from her African heritage.  The children explored her work, the colours and the meaning before creating their own visual records.

Happy to be back at School

All the children are delighted to be back at school and none more so than those in Year 4.  Even taking on the role of teacher.

School Council Cake Sale

The School Council have raised over £500.00 with their recent cake sale in aid of Macmillan Cancer. The sale was supported by all the pupils, parents and staff.  Well Done!
