Yr 4 Visit Verulamiam

October 16, 2019

Year 4 had a fantastic trip to Verulamium. They enjoyed a hands-on workshop with Roman artifacts and a leader who had so many facts to share. The children loved exploring everything the museum had to offer. They found the old Roman Theatre incredibly interesting and couldn’t quite believe that Romans had once stood where they were! Our last stop was the Roman Hypocaust where they got a closer look at a mosaic. Despite the weather, it was such an enjoyable day where the children really got to embed their learning in History.
