Excellent A Level Results
August 10, 2021
Today’s release of A Level results has enabled Aldenham students to celebrate achieving entry into the top universities in the country. Despite the significant challenges of the last two years which saw students having to undergo extended periods of online learning, it was really impressive to see the extent to which the 78 boys and girls gained so much from their Sixth Form experience at Aldenham.
Over 95% of students were able to move to their universities of choice immediately with around two thirds heading to Russell Group universities. We will see Aldenham students beginning studies this September in almost every top university including Bath, Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Durham, Edinburgh, Exeter, KCL, Lancaster, Leeds, Loughborough, Manchester, Nottingham, Sheffield, Southampton and UCL.
There were some very significant achievements including 7 students who gained A* grades in each of their A Levels: Aadam Ali; Viola Alishah; Ben Clifford; Zoe Freedman; Alex Kessell Holland; Joshua Jayson; Isabel Williams.
Headmaster James Fowler commented: This has been a most demanding period for young people and I am incredibly impressed by the way in which our students have been able to develop such flexibility and resilience, whilst achieving most impressive academic results. I really hope that, as they move onto the next stage of their education, they will be able to look back on the help and support that they have received over their time at Aldenham and see how this will allow them to flourish in the future. We wish them every success.

Generative AI Assembly
Year 10 took part in an assembly exploring generative AI, preparing them for RileyBot sessions in their upcoming tutor time. Students explored how AI can be misused, from edited images to inaccurate translations and why it’s important to think critically. A fun translation challenge helped us spot who relied on AI and who didn’t!
