Aldenham Win the Elgin Cup
March 18, 2022
Congratulations to the U14A side who won the Elgin Trophy yesterday with a convincing 3-0 win over Hampton. Aaron Nour, who was named ‘player of the match’ scored two first half goals before Christian Swaby scored a third early in the second half to finish the game. Unfortunately the previous evening, in very different conditions, the 1st X1 lost their Elgin final on penalties to Brentwood. Max Bustamante had put them 1 up early in the second half, and despite dominating the game, Brentwood scored an equaliser. Brentwood then won 4-2 on penalties. We now look forward to two Hertfordshire Schools Cup finals in the next two weeks for the U12 & U14s.
