GCSE Results
August 25, 2022
We were delighted with the GCSE results that our pupils have received this morning. For these young people, who have experienced the interruptions of Covid since they were in Year 9, these results are a testimony to their hard work and determination. With 36% of all grades at 7 or above, and 60% at 6 or above, they are now in a strong position as they move on to their A level courses. The top 25% of the year group achieved 78% of grades at 7 or above (equivalent to A*/A) and the top half of all pupils achieved a 7 or above in 60% of their exams. These figures look very positive against the national picture and our pupils can be truly proud of their achievements, which follow on from a period of uncertainty and disruption, and show them to be adaptable, resilient and committed. We look forward to welcoming them into their A level courses and no doubt seeing them flourish in the Sixth Form.
