ALDFEST Masterclass

June 26, 2025

The cast of AldFest were so incredibly lucky to have Matt Willis join us for a performance masterclass. He advised us with everything from performance techniques, like not being so attached to a microphone stand and using our arms to engage the audience, to just having a smile on our faces. He also gave us some fantastic phrases to boost our confidence when performing. One of my favourites was ‘Wrong and strong’.  I have no doubt that a chunk of Tuesday night’s success was due to him. From dance numbers to rock ballads, everyone had a smile on their faces and most definitely learnt a lot. Thank you so much Mr Willis!
