Physics students travel to CERN

This year’s CERN trip was an excellent opportunity for the students to see the sights and sounds of Geneva before exploring into the heart of the Large Hadron Collider – the most advanced piece of technology on the planet and the home of cutting edge Particle Physics.
The trip managed to squeeze a lot into the two days including a Lake Cruise, a visit to the History of Science Museum, a tour of the UN and the tour of CERN itself. The A-Level Physicists thoroughly enjoyed the experience and hopefully we might even see a couple of them working there in the future!
