Aldenham U15 Cricketers are County Cup Champions

June 29, 2016

Congratulations to our U15 cricket team on winning the Hertfordshire County Cup last night in a tight final against Bishop’s Stortford High School. Having beaten Haberdashers’, St Albans and Watford Grammar School for Boys in previous rounds the team have done extremely well and as a year group have completed what we think is the unique double of County Cups in Football and Cricket. Well done to them all and their coaches – Mr Kirsten and Mr Breeze.

This first cup win in ten years is also a worthy finale for Mr Irish and his excellent tenure as Head of Cricket as he departs for Devon. We thank him for all he has done. Mr Kirsten will take over as Head of Cricket.

Congratulations too to the U14 team who also reached the County Cup finals.
