Senior Students visit Poland during half term

During October half term, 18 Aldenham students and 3 members of staff embarked on a three day trip to Krakow, Poland, to learn about the cultural, historical and religious heritage of the city. They visited the Salt Mines to see for themselves the biggest underground chapel in the world, with statues made of salt.

Students and staff members had a memorable day tour around the concentration camps Auschwitz and Birkenau, and learned about the awful fate of the victims. The final day was spent on a walking tour around the main Jewish and historical sites of Krakow, including Schindler’s Factory.
