Paull’s House Mud Run

Paull’s House traded the classroom for a mud course last week, heading to Essex for the Nuclear Race. It was messy, it was tiring, and by the end, most people didn’t have much clean skin left. The course had the usual mix of obstacles – crawling under nets, climbing over walls, and wading through mud pits that didn’t let go easily. A few girls lost shoes and socks somewhere along the way, left behind in the mud for good.  Even so, no one complained. People pushed through the tired legs and the cold, muddy water, cheering each other on to the finish.  It summed up what Paull’s House is about – getting involved and supporting each other. It was the kind of experience that’s more about the shared effort and the laughs along the way than the course itself, and that’s exactly what made it memorable.
