Study Skills programme by Elevate Education

Pupils in Year 9 and 11 participated in a study skills programme delivered by Elevate Education. Elevate Education is a multi-award winning organisation that has revolutionised the way study skills are taught around the world.

Pupils in Year 9 covered maximising attention and minimising distractions, memory and learning styles, semantic learning techniques and avoiding rote learning through the use of high level techniques. Meanwhile, pupils in Year 11 covered high value exam preparation tasks, fixing mistakes to ensure constant improvement, time allocation during exam preparation and techniques for managing stress and time pressure in exams.
