Historians visit Washington

November 3, 2019

The History and Politics department took 20 students away for a History and Politics trip and they were all outstanding and gained a huge amount from the experience. They visited the WW2, Korean War, Vietnam War, Lincoln, Martin Luther King and Roosevelt memorials. They also had a tour of Congress and Arlington Cemetery, as well as visiting the National Archives and National Museum of History.

Climbing the Washington Monument they had an amazing view over Washington. In order to soak in as much culture as they could alongside the History and Politics, they visited Georgetown, Du Pont and even managed to fit in some free time at a mall.

A huge amount was fitted into a short space of time and students will have so many great memories to take away with them.
