KEY STAGE 3
Years 7 to 9
At Key Stage 3, the aim is to enthuse a love of learning and a curiosity to explore in a range of disciplines. Between Years 7 and 9, the girls and boys are exposed to more than just the core areas of English, Maths and Science, but also languages, humanities and the arts – alongside physical education aiming to keep them healthy in body as well as mind.

GCSE
Years 10 and 11
At GCSE, students take forward all the core subjects they were studying in Key Stage 3, but have the option to narrow their focus and specialise a little in some other areas. In addition to the joy of studying for its own sake, the GCSE programme gives importat preparation for the all important A Levels.

A LEVELS
Years 12 and 13
Students are able to specialise, deepening their knowledge and experience with what is widely regarded as the best preparation for further study at University, whether here or overseas. There is also a broad tutorial support programme and a specialised careers programme all designed to strengthen the student experience and prepare them for their next steps.

SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS AND DISABILITY
Learning Support and English as an Additional Language
Aldenham is a welcoming community and aims to support all students with their learning. Some students come to us with existing assessments and others are referred for diagnostic testing during their time at Aldenham. We aim to provide appropriate access arrangements for lessons and public examinations.
