Aldenham School, Founded 1597

Admissions at 11+

At eleven years of age there are around 80 places available.

Applicants should have attained the age of eleven before September 1st in the year of entry. Places are offered on the basis of a satisfactory performance at the 11+ examination, interview and school report. The entrance examination is held during the Spring Term and the aim is to test the skills of the candidates whatever their background. Papers are set in English, Mathematics and Reasoning.

Entry Assessment

All registered candidates will be invited to sit the entrance examination in the January of the year of entry.  References will also be requested from the candidate's current school.

All candidates must have completed a Registration Form (cut-off date 1st December).

You will be invited for interview after registration is complete. This usually takes place before the January examination, but if all times are fully booked, then interviews will take place post examination, subject to good performance in the examination.

If you have not yet seen the school,  or you are ready to book an interview should there be a time available - please make a booking here
