Aldenham are the Investec ISFA U15 Champions 2018
March 16, 2018
It was a momentous achievement for Aldenham when the Under 15 footballers secured the National ISFA title with a great win over Cheadle Hulme School at Burton Albion’s ground. The team won 4-1 with two goals from Daniel Oyegoke and two more from Charlie Patino.
At the end of the first half it was Aldenham who broke the deadlock after an evenly matched start to the game when Charlie scored from the edge of the 18-yard box to put them 1-0 up. In the second half both teams came out fighting. Daniel extended Aldenham’s lead from a corner, this was quickly followed by a goal from Cheadle Hulme. It was Daniel again who extended Aldenham’s lead to 3-1 as he calmly converted a penalty shot. Ryan Hayes came close to scoring twice but was denied by the crossbar and by a good save from the goalie.
Aldenham sealed the victory and made history as Charlie got his second goal after hitting home a free kick into the bottom corner. Final score 4-1. It was an excellent display of football by both sides which left Aldenham crowned the 2017-18 ISFA Investec U15 Cup Champions. Well done to the whole squad.
