Aldenham Golfers on a winning streak

February 6, 2019

Congratulations to our golf team who have again, for the third time in four years, won the Regional competition of the ISGA match play competition. This is the largest independent schools’ golf competition in the country, with over 120 schools taking part.

Arran Kanth, Lewis Slade and Fletcher Masterton defeated St Columbus A (2.5-0.5), St Columbus B (2-1) and Haberdashers’ A (2.5-0.5). The Aldenham team will play in the National Finals in April at Prince’s and Royal St George’s in Sandwich.

Teams consist of three pupils who play scratch knockout against their drawn school to play for the area trophy. All area finalists play a two day competition to decide the overall winning team.
