Biology Club

Biology Club has enjoyed a fantastic start to the term, with students in Years 7 to 9 enthusiastically taking part in a range of hands-on activities. From growing mushrooms and cloning cauliflower plants to dissecting owl pellets, students have explored key biological concepts through practical investigation.

Members have also been busy maintaining the vegetable garden, planting winter crops and preparing beds for the colder months ahead. In addition, they have helped care for the department’s animals, including our terrapins, bearded dragon and saltwater aquarium.

The club continues to provide an excellent opportunity for students to develop practical scientific skills, nurture their curiosity about the natural world, and enjoy learning beyond the classroom. We look forward to another exciting year of discovery and exploration.

DANCE

The Dance department hit the ground running with a trip for the dancers on Monday evening. We saw Cats the musical at the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre. The setting was spectacular as was the dancing and singing. A great experience for the dancers.

Paint Pouring

In this engaging Art lesson, pupils explored paint pouring, experimenting with colour, movement and chance. By layering and tilting fluid paints, they created unique marbled effects, building confidence and creativity. Each finished piece is a striking reflection of individuality and expressive, contemporary art techniques.
