Boys’ Handball County Champions

March 18, 2016

The Aldenham U15 boys’ Handball team were crowned County Champions today having beaten Rickmansworth (5-3), Sir Frederic Osbourne (7-2) and Cavendish School (7-2) on their way to victory.

The team won the District Tournament on 10 March, beating last year’s winners, Rickmansworth School, 4-0 in the deciding match. This is a remarkable achievement considering the boys have only played this sport a handful of times in their GCSE PE lessons.

We wish them every success as they go on to represent Hertfordshire at the Regional Finals in May.
