Charlie Patino – What a Debut!
December 21, 2021
We at Aldenham have been watching Charlie’s progress with real interest. He was a game changer here at School, and was part of two of our ISFA National Cup winning sides. What we witnessed tonight in his Senior Team Debut was a great example of what we saw all the time!
In the Arsenal versus Sunderland match in the EFL cup tonight, Charlie was given his chance. We are delighted to say he grabbed it and displayed exactly what has led pundits to describe him as the ‘wonder kid’. It was in added time that he calmly slotted the ball past the Sunderland keeper. An excellent goal to show that dreams can come true! As he himself said, “What a night!”
