Bronze
WHAT PARTICIPANTS DO:
Participants must complete four sections: Volunteering, Physical, Skills, and an Expedition. The Bronze level typically requires a commitment of at least three months for the Volunteering, Physical, and Skills sections, with the Expedition section requiring a two-day, one-night journey.
BENEFITS TO PARTICIPANTS:
Completing the Bronze level helps young people develop essential life skills, including teamwork, perseverance, and independence. It encourages them to engage in their communities through volunteering, improves their physical fitness, and allows them to explore new interests and hobbies through the skills section.

Silver
WHAT PARTICIPANTS DO:
Silver participants must complete the Volunteering, Physical, Skills, and Expedition sections, similar to Bronze but with increased commitment. The Volunteering section requires six months, while Physical and Skills each require six months unless one was completed as a direct entry, in which case it is three months. The Expedition is longer, typically three days and two nights.
BENEFITS TO PARTICIPANTS:
The Silver level builds on the skills gained at Bronze, with a greater focus on responsibility and leadership. Participants further enhance their abilities in planning and executing tasks, working in teams, and building resilience through more challenging activities.

Gold
WHAT PARTICIPANTS DO:
Gold participants must complete five sections: Volunteering, Physical, Skills, Expedition, and a Residential section. The Volunteering, Physical, and Skills sections each require 12 months, while the Expedition involves a four-day, three-night journey. The Residential section involves staying away from home for five days while participating in a shared activity with people they do not know.
BENEFITS TO PARTICIPANTS:
The Gold level is the highest achievement and is highly respected by employers and educational institutions. It signifies a high level of commitment and achievement, showcasing participants’ leadership, problem-solving, and social skills. The Residential section, in particular, helps build confidence and adaptability in new environments.
