Tennis

Tennis at Aldenham

Playing tennis at Aldenham is popular. Students enjoy how it boosts physical fitness,

enhances coordination, and sharpens mental agility. It promotes teamwork, discipline, and

sportsmanship, while providing fun and social interaction.

Singles, Doubles and Mixed Tennis

Tennis is very popular at Aldenham. It is run within the Enrichment programme and during Games sessions in the summer term. We have seven tennis courts within the grounds of the school. Teams represent Aldenham in the Hertfordshire County leagues for U13, U15 and Seniors (Years 11-13). We also enter the National knock-out cups where the team consists of the best four players from any year group in the school.

Playing For Fun and Gaining Success

Many students play simply because they love the game. However, Aldenham does enter competitions from time to time. We were County runners up in the U13 Division 1 league finals in 2023, County U15 league winners in 2022 and Regional Champions in the U13 Division 2 finals in 2022.
