Last weekend a group of 28 year 11s completed their Bronze DofE expedition in the Chilterns. Despite very wet and cold weather the four teams managed to successfully navigate their way around the planned routes, learning some valuable navigating and personal skills along the way.
After the first day of hiking, the teams had to set up their tents and prepare their evening meals – all in the driving rain. After an early start on a Sunday morning, the students prepared their breakfast, packed their kit up, and embarked on their second day of hiking – this time in the lovely summer sunshine.
Congratulations to all the students on making it through the Bronze Qualifying expedition, they all can be really proud of what they have achieved over the expedition weekend.
