Editorial Director of The Sunday Times addresses Les Philosophes

November 10, 2016

Les Philosophes enjoyed a fantastic talk by Eleanor Mills, the editorial director of the Sunday Times, this week.

Mills, also the editor of the Sunday Times Magazine, spoke about her amazing career in journalism covering some of the most powerful stories at home and abroad. Editorial highlights included stories on the Boko Haram kidnappings and the Yazidi girls of Iraq being abused, tortured and killed by Isis.

Mills also covered the damage caused to teenagers by the culture of internet pornography prevalent in society as well as equality for women in society which provoked some superb questions from the audience, both male and female!

It was an evening full of insight and anecdotes which will live long in the memory as well as providing plenty of inspiration for all present.
