Four Aldenhamians Tom Hawkes, Erik Kemish, Flynn Nicholas and Adem Arik acquitted themselves well at the U15 Eton Fives Individuals' Competition at Harrow at the weekend.

All students played and performed gallantly moving from quarter-finals, to semi-finals and, after a real sporting fight against students from Ipswich, Alleyns', Emmanuel and St Olaves Schools, Tom Hawkes rose vistorious winning the title over 30 other students. Congratulations also to Eric Kemish who almost made it to the final round.

Recently Josh Walker, George Reynolds, Rabin Selliah, Giles Hirst Malin, Anthony Jacovides and Nick Fallekos also took part in the Aldenham Fives Club first ladder competition. Together with 14 other players they filled five courts for 80 minutes of continuous competitive Fives. A tremendous rainstorm adding to the excitement of the evening!

Aldenham players Carl Rennie (OA) and his partner were placed joint second. Aldenham School Director of Sport, Andy Stephenson, said: “The boys really enjoyed the night as it was a great learning experience.”
