GCSE Results

Aldenham GCSE students were today able to celebrate some excellent results. Despite the challenges of the last two years, they were able to be carefully assessed by their teachers and to see these judgements confirmed today.
Pupils were able to look at impressive outcomes with over half gaining at least 4 results at grade 7-9 and a fifth gaining 8 or more of such top grades. There were eleven students who gained at least 10 top grades 7-9, formerly recorded as A*/A: Daniel Ajibola; Kabir Ansari; Dillan Attygalle; Joshua Balabanoff; Kristian Bergene-Grey; Alex Brook; Ayobamikale Odumlami; Rahil Patel; Madeleine Rymer; Alex Smith; Louis Thresher.
Also Gus McNeil. Gus’ lowest grade was an A. He got 10 grades A & A*’s not to mention his French GCSE he sat a year early and got an A*.
Headmaster James Fowler commented: It has been an extraordinary period for our pupils who have been preparing for GCSEs in most unusual circumstances. It is greatly to their credit that by following the careful guidance of their teachers and their own impressive level of determined application the boys and girls of this year group have emerged with such high quality results. We look forward to seeing most of them continue with their Sixth form studies here over the next two years, in what we hope will be a more normal experience for them and their teachers.
