House Cross Country

April 12, 2023

House Cross Country event which saw the vast majority of pupils commit to running a muddy course, under drizzly conditions and grey skies, marshalled by encouraging staff in soggy raincoats and damp boots. Once again this exemplifies the grit and resolve of pupils and staff, undeterred by inclement weather, to build a sense of camaraderie in the face of adversity.

An intense battle in the ESFA National Final saw Year 7 hold Thomas Telford to a 1-1 draw in regular time. The match went straight to penalties, where Aldenham held their nerve and triumphed 4-3 in a dramatic shootout to become National Champions!
