ISFA U13 Finalists
February 1, 2024
The U13s reached the ISFA for the 2nd successive year by beating Habs in a tense encounter on Monday afternoon. Habs started the brighter and had a few half chances but the score remained 0-0 until half-time. Aldenham were much better in the second half and went close when Levi Witzenfeld hit the bar from long range. The game was edging closer to extra-time when year 7 Mark Baldovinescu swept home form close range to give Aldenham the lead. Habs immediately responded and equalised to take the game into extra-time. With the game destined for penalties Aldenham broke and were awarded a penalty. Kryon Raymond-Callender, who scored the winner in the final last season playing up a year, stepped up and cooly slotted the penalty home to send Aldenham to Burton once again.
