Junior Production

June 17, 2025

We are absolutely thrilled to share the success of our recent Junior Production, Wendy and Peter Pan by Ella Hickson. This bold reimagining of J.M. Barrie’s classic tale gave our students the opportunity to stretch their theatrical wings – and they certainly flew!

From the very first rehearsal, it was clear we had a special group of young performers. They approached every challenge with energy, imagination, and a deep commitment to the production. Ella Hickson’s script calls for both emotional depth and playfulness, and our students rose to the occasion with maturity and joy. They captured the poignancy of Wendy’s journey, performing their characters  with enthusiasm and skill.

The team in the Drama Department couldn’t be prouder of what our students accomplished. It wasn’t just a performance – it was a true ensemble achievement that showcased the talent, teamwork and passion of everyone involved.

Carols in the Abbey

The Carol Service, in a packed St Albans Cathedral, was a splendid way to round off a very busy Christmas term. The service began in an atmosphere of expectation as the lights were dimmed while the choir sang an unaccompanied medieval plainsong introit from the back of the cathedral before the lone soprano voice of […]
