Maths Enrichment Day for Primary Schools
May 21, 2018
The Aldenham Maths department hosted their inaugural Enrichment Afternoon in May. We were joined by 48 Year 5 and 6 students from seven local Primary Schools. The pupils were introduced to ‘Permutations’, an A level Statistics topic – and with the help of our own Year 12 mathematicians worked together through a series of challenge rounds – building on their new maths skills and also problem solving together.
The standard of mathematics and team work was very high and we look forward to hosting the event again next year.
